大好きな非常階段のアルバム、”Modern”を買いました。
事情があって過去に手放したこのCDをまた手に。
昔に聴いたときより、音がよく聴こえてきます。聴くたびに新しい発見。
74分のノイズ。浄化されるような、解放感。
I bought my favorite Hijokaidan’s album, “Modern”.
I had this CD in the past but I got this one again.
I can hear more texture than before. I hear something new every time I listen to.
Noise, 74 minutes. Feels like being released. Purification.

More than a month ago! Procrastinating to write this blog too much… I gave up with many SNS, however this blog is a most long-lasting yet.
Anyway, The live was at The Battery Books & Music in South Pasadena.
Surrounded by nice smell of used books, we (me and Ken) could perform in good mood. There weren’t many audience, but a few people listened eagerly. I was so pleased one of them bought our record!
I learned I should do more about buzzing ham noise. This buzz got overdubbed when I was creating loops…

I designed the artwork as well. This is created upon the picture I took, the ruins of loading deck for semi trailers.
さる１月17日、くだぎつねのライブがありました。
ひと月以上も前！ ブログ書くのさぼり気味ですう…。 いろんなSNSにすべて挫折したわたしですが、これでもブログはつづいているほうなのです。
さておき、サウスパサデナの古本屋さんでやりました。The Battery Books & Musicというところです。
古本くんたちのいい匂いに囲まれて、気分よく演奏できました。お客さんは少なかったけど、数人の方が熱心に聴いてくれていました。レコードも買ってもらって嬉しいです！
ジーっていうハムノイズ対策をもっとやらんといけんと思いました。ループを重ねる度にジーまで重なってしまうのです (; ω ; )。
そうそう、くだぎつねのレコードがついに発売したったです。Carbon Recordsから発売中です。
ジャケットのデザインもさせていただきました。じつは近所の打ち捨てられたトラックの搬入口の跡の写真を加工したものです。

死んじゃった雀のために
I had the first dream of 2013.
Yellow pus gushed out of my right ear. Blood gushed out of my left ear.
My mother took me to see a doctor in a far and new town, where many houses were still being built.
But the doctor refused to see me because I had no health insurance…
The another dream I had was that my favorite handbag had been stolen.
Looks like I am going to have the interesting year!
初夢を見た。
右耳から黄色い膿、左耳から血が流れ出る夢。
母に連れられて、遠く離れた、建てかけの家の多い、新しい町のお医者さんに行った。
だけど、保険がなくて診てもらえなかった。
もうひとつの夢は、お気に入りのハンドバッグを盗まれる夢。
面白い年になりそうですね！
I went to see a friend of mine.
When we were talking at her place, we heard a noise like something hit the window.
I thought a bird hit the window.
We looked outside through the window, but we could not find anything unusual.
Then,
My friend’s cat came back inside.
The cat placed a dead sparrow on the floor.
We buried the sparrow under the tree.
That is how I ended the last day of this year.
今日、友人の家に行った。
話をしていると、窓にゴツンと何かが当たる音がした。
鳥がぶつかったのかなと思った。
窓の外を見てみた。鳥らしきものはなかった。
すると
友人の猫が庭から部屋に戻ってきた。
猫は咥えていた死んだ雀を床に置いた。
わたしたちは雀を樹の下に埋めた。
今年の最後はこうして終わりました。
